01About
I take models out of the notebook and into production.
I’m in Ramallah. I write the model and the system it lives in: the database, the server, the login screen nobody thanks you for.
So far that has meant OCR that reads Arabic, Hebrew and English off a passport, trucks that invoice their own routes, and a transactions dashboard that municipalities and the Prime Minister’s Office open every morning.
Before that, four years of Computer Science and AI in Madrid. I won the Ryanair datathon predicting aircraft takeoff weight to 816 kg, and spent my capstone teaching a network to invent drug molecules.
I like the unglamorous half. The part that still has to work after the demo is over.

Bank of Palestine
Internal systemFull Stack · Data · Analytics · 2026
A transactions dashboard for Palestinian municipalities and the Prime Minister’s Office. I built the stack, ran the database, deployed the server, and worked out who gets to see what.

AL Mashreq Insurance
GitHubComputer Vision · OCR · NLP · 2024
A transformer OCR model fine-tuned on identity documents. It pulls clean fields off IDs, driver licenses and passports in Arabic, Hebrew and English, and handles every passport type in circulation.

My capstone. A reinforcement-learning GAN and a junction-tree VAE, put to work inventing drug molecules that are chemically real and biologically useful.
Aircraft Weight Prediction
Ryanair Datathon — 1st place
